1380whp 1986 Buick Regal T-Type in White with 100,000 (Chassis) miles for sale! This T-Type is a 100% legit pump gas cruiser that’s been well engineered/dialed in, it’s ready to handle any task at hand, whether it’s cruising with the family on a hot day or being competitive against legit small tire cars at the track. Powered by a Borowski/Dart 388 LS that’s coupled with a Garrett GT55/94 turbo, and mated to full billet 4L80e 4-speed automatic transmission (just refreshed by Accurate Transmission in CT). This build features an extensive modification list that’s loaded with countless quality components. The owner has had the car since 2009, everything was done by him with the exception of the transmission refresh. Tuning was completed by the owner as well along with some very smart individuals, resulting in an output of 1380whp @ 32psi (runs on 93 pump gas and VP M1 in the Alky tank), which has been confirmed by the weight/ET math. As for track times, it ran a best of 5.23 @ 136mph in the 1/8-mile with a soft launch (slip and videos available), never ran the full 1/4-mile turned up, but the math is there to easily go 8.0 or better. Temp runs at 170ish as long as the car is moving, it can hot-lap 8.50 passes with no cooldown. The body remains all steel/glass with a 6/10 rating, there are a few rust spots and a scuff down the drivers’ door, it’s not a show piece, however it does look great and gets tons of attention. Everything has just been freshened up, the owner recently had a child, and decided to quit racing. A notebook full of cheat sheets for shock/tire pressure/boost controller settings for slicks and radials will be included, it’s fast on any surface. Several totes full of spare parts will be included as well, including sensors, spark plugs, rocker arms, coils, plug wires, belts, 55 gallon drum of transmission fluid, 2 (5) gallon drums of methanol, etc. The entire build has been well documented by the owner with boxes of receipts for everything that’s in/on the car. Only 6K miles on the build! Clean title!
