1969 Volkswagen Beetle for sale! This is a unique build that blends a Beetle body with a ‘49 Chevrolet cab, custom-built bed, and a full hand-fabricated frame with an integrated roll cage. Chopped, channeled, and powered by a cammed 5.3L LS V8 that’s linked to a TH350 transmission with a manual valve body (you shift it manually). Both the engine and transmission were gone through at the time of the build, and the engine was also fitted with a COMP Cams camshaft. It runs strong with no leaks, and doesn’t overheat as it runs 165-170 on cooler days and around 180 on hotter days. In terms of suspension, this setup utilizes a four-link rear suspension setup with air bags (around 6” range of lift/drop), and a Super Bell drop axle up front with hairpin radius rods. Further equipped with Wilwood front disc brakes, Bomber-style seats with racing harnesses, engine-turned aluminum trim, Dynamat insulation, B&M pistol grip shifter, Autometer tach/vitals, and more. There are approximately 4,500 since the build was completed, it’s still being driven, so mileage will increase a bit. This is a turn-key build that’s already sorted, and ready to be enjoyed. It’s won awards at every show the owner has taken it to, including Best in Show at its most recent show, Mobil 1 Fan Favorite at 2021 Hot Wheels Legends Tour, etc. Open to reasonable offers, may consider trades for another classic vehicle (trades would need to come to the owner).
