This vibrant GT500 was modified by Speed Syndicate out of Forth Worth, TX, it currently holds the un-ported blower ET and MPH record for GT500’s with an 8.96 pass in the 1/4-mile at 158mph. Powered by a 5.2L Predator V8 that’s topped with an Eaton TVS R2650 supercharger, and linked to a Tremec TR-9070 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The supercharger system utilizes a VMP Apex Predator lid, 2.35” 8-rib upper pulley, 20% overdrive crank pulley, Kong 108mm throttle body, and JLT cold air intake. This setup is supported by a Fore Innovations triple pump fuel system along with a set of Injector Dynamics ID1650X fuel injectors. Additional upgrades include a pair of long tube headers, trunk mounted 7-gallon ice tank, Livernois heat exchanger, full KellTrac suspension, Viking rear shocks, WELD Racing Laguna drag pack, Aerospace brakes and rotors, half cage, and more. All brought together with tuning from Coastal Dyno (tuned for E98, E85 & 93 octane), the car has not been on a dyno with this setup, however it should be in the 1150-1200whp range considering the 1/4-mile time/weight/trap speed.
