This Caprice is powered by a 6.0L L77 that’s backed by a 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine received an overhaul with the installation of numerous components including a TSP stage 1 blower cam with all supporting valvetrain upgrades, Melling high volume oil pump, C5R timing chain, ARP head bolts, and LS9 MLS head gaskets, just to name a few. The exhaust system features a pair of OBX long tube headers along with a full stainless custom Magnaflow catback. Additional upgrades include a 160* thermostat, Super Pro poly engine mounts, 19” CTS-V wheels powder coated gunmetal, SS springs with new end links/top hats, full SS center console/steering wheel with HSV airbag, and more. This Caprice was modified by the owner, and tuning was handled by Charles Barber with an estimated output of ~430-450whp (flex fuel tuned for E85 or 93 octane and anything in between).
