The heart of this Evo X consists of a Darton sleeved/built 4B11 that’s paired with an ATP GTX3582R turbocharger, and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. More specifically, the engine features Darton MID wet sleeves (block bored out from 86mm to 89mm), Manley Turbo Tuff I-beam rods, Cosworth 89mm pistons, GSC S2 Billet Series camshafts, and MAP H11 head studs. Fueling this beast of a setup is a set of FIC 1650cc Hi-Z fuel injectors followed by a Buschur Racing double pumper fuel system, and a flex fuel ethanol kit. To ensure reliable power delivery, the transmission was coupled with an Exedy twin-disc clutch. Additional build highlights include an AMS intercooler, Forge blow off valve, methanol injection tank, MAP exhaust manifold/downpipe, Tomei test pipe, Invidia N1 Catback single exhaust, and more. Modifications were installed by Speed Element, and tuning was handled by Gary Bains (@bainstuning_gary) with an output of 583whp/431wtq on a conservative daily street tune (can be turned up to 850+whp).
