Description
885whp 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 2LT in Black with 6,490 (Chassis) miles for sale! This one-owner, 9-second C6 was built to be a street/show/occasional track toy with excellent street manners and cold A/C, it drives like stock with the exception of a higher stall converter. No expense was spared on this build, RPM Transmissions did most of the work on this car, they have records, and can vouch for the build. At its core is a forged LS3 engine that’s matched with a TTix twin turbo kit (62/62 Precision ball bearing billet turbos), and linked to an RPM Transmissions Stage VII 4L65E 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine was built by Dustin of Lingenfelter Performance/EPP, fitted with Diamond forged pistons, Manley I-beam forged rods, EPP forced induction cam, Richards Machine LS3 heads with dual valve springs/Ti Manley valves, and much more. The fuel system was upgraded with a Lonnies Performance Double Pumper twin Walbro fuel pump kit with 8/10 AN fuel lines, ID1000 injectors, Dallas Performance billet fuel rails, and a Weldon FPR. Following the RPM built 4L65E, the drivetrain also features a 3600 RPM stall converter, RPM Transmissions Stage IV 3.42 differential, and Driveshaft Shop 1000hp axles. Additionally, this C6 comes equipped with a custom RPM Transmissions turbo-back full 3” stainless exhaust, PFADT Racing coilovers/rear drag racing sway bar, Forgeline/Nitto street setup, WELD Racing RT-S S71 drag pack, RPM rear spindle/brake conversion, Advanced Chassis NHRA compliant roll cage, and the list goes on. Tuning was handled by Phil Hoefler (Dr.Phil) on VP Blue 112 octane race fuel, this setup yielded 729whp @ 10psi (wastegate spring) and 885whp @ 18psi (high boost setting). As for track times, the car ran a 9.82 @ 138.96mph in the 1/4-mile, followed by a 10.2 @ 146.6mph on a street tire night/poor track conditions. The owner will also include (2) brand new/never installed TTix Precision 62-65 ball bearing billet turbochargers. Corvette Museum delivered! Always garaged! Only 2,500 miles on the build!
