Description

900+whp 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 #786 in Hemi Orange with 39,000 (Chassis) miles for sale! This Challenger is a serious street/strip car that was built to handle serious power while retaining full interior, A/C, and the ability to be daily-driven. Power is derived from a Barth Tuning built 426ci engine that’s topped with a massive 4.9L Kenne Bell supercharger, and mated to a built NAG1 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine build features forged internals to strengthen the bottom end along with a custom COMP CAM and a pair of Thitek heads. The fuel system was upgraded to a Fore Innovations triple pump unit, and it’s currently running E85. Following the built transmission, the drivetrain also features a carbon fiber driveshaft with a safety loop, and a Strange 9” rear end with 35-spline axles from Driveshaft Shop. Additional upgrades include a pair of long tube headers, Corsa exhaust, Stage 2 methanol injection, FI Interchiller, trunk mounted ice tank, Reed Motorsports coilovers, fire suppression system, 6-point roll cage, and much more. Modifications were installed by Barth Tuning, and tuning was completed by Stephen Dixon at The Tuning School alongside Bob Morreale. The car was tuned conservatively with four maps ranging from 824whp to 889whp on just 11lbs of boost. It could be safely turned up to 1200whp with just a pulley change, however the owner wanted seat time before turning it up further. As for track times, it ran a 6.25 while spinning in the 1/8-mile. The owner is only looking to part ways with this beast of a build due to life getting busy, unfortunately the car doesn’t get the attention it deserves. An enclosed car trailer can be included as well for an extra $7,500. There are only 1K miles on the build with invoices for the work performed! Clean title!
