At the heart of this S197 Mustang is an L&M Engines, Inc. built Coyote that’s topped with a 2.9L Whipple supercharger (10-rib setup with 3.25” upper/20% lower pulley combination), and mated to a Tremec T-56 Magnum XL 6-speed manual transmission with a McLeod RXT twin disc clutch. Fuel demands were met with the installation of a Fore Innovations Level 4 triple pump fuel system with 3 Walbro 525LPH pumps, FC3 controller, and a set of DW1000 fuel injectors. Following the transmission swap, the drivetrain also features a Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft with a billet yoke, fully gusseted/built 8.8 rear end with 3.31 gears/Eaton Truetrac, and Strange 31 spline axles. This build comes equipped with several additional components, including cat-less long tubes, x-pipe, full UPR suspension pack, Belak Series 2 drag pack, and more. The build was completed by C&D Autotech, and tuning was handled by Lund Racing with 3 different tunes, 93 octane (can’t race on it), E85, and One Ethanol R. This setup is making approximately 900whp on One Ethanol R. Only 7,100 miles on the build with invoices for the work performed! Clean title!
