Powered by a 4.0L M177 V8 that’s matched with a pair of Modal Works Stage 2 turbos (capable of 1000whp), and linked to an SHR built 7-speed transmission. The Twin Turbo system also utilizes a Modal Works turbo blanket, Modal Works adjustable blow off valves, and Modal Works intakes. The fuel system was upgraded with the installation of a Spool FX-170 high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) system along with 2.8mm E63 fuel rails, Spool Stage 3 LPFP with a Hobbs switch, and all 8 injectors were recently replaced. Additional upgrades include 4” cat-less downpipes (heat shielded), Modal Works transmission cooler/intercooler, CSF auxiliary coolers, CSF front mounted heat exchanger, and more. Modifications were installed by the owner, and tuning was completed by MPE. The car has not been on a dyno with this setup, however the owner estimates the car is generating over 900whp. As for the M177, the valvetrain was just inspected, and the head gaskets were replaced along with new head studs. A Blackstone Laboratory oil inspection was completed as well, which resulted in a rating far above average for the mileage. The compression is equal amongst all 8 cylinders, plugs were replaced and gapped to 024 every 1K miles. The transmission and differential fluid were both just serviced.
