All current auctions will be hosted on BASTA for the time being, if you wish to bid on a vehicle, please create an account on the auction page for the vehicle, and verify your credit card to begin bidding. We are working closely with their team to run auctions, all of which, will be backed fully with Street Car Market's powerful advertising. We have many awesome features planned in the near future, although changes are coming, the auction process, creative ad development, and end goal of getting your vehicle sold in a fast, yet effective manner will always remain the same. SELLER FAQ
First, thank you for your interest in listing your vehicle with the Street Car Market! Please keep in mind we are currently only accepting modified vehicles to ensure all vehicles correlate with the theme of the platform. Follow the steps below to begin your submission.
- If you haven't already, please create an account by clicking here
- Navigate to the Submit an Auction page
- You will be redirected to the submission page to complete our submission form, it is important to be as thorough as possible during the submission process
- We will review your submission and reach out to you via email to let you know if the vehicle has been approved
- Once your vehicle has been approved, we will also let you know what additional requirements we may have before working on your auction
- Once we have all necessary information/media, we will begin crafting your auction
- Once the rough draft for your auction is complete, we will run it by you to get the green light before scheduling the vehicle
- The auction will go LIVE for approximately 7 days, during this time period we will be advertising the vehicle to bring as many eyes as possible to your auction
- Once the timer ends, if it was a reserve auction, the highest bid will be marked as the winning bidder if it's above the reserve. If it's an auction with no reserve, then the highest bid will immediately be marked as the winning bidder.
- The winning bidder will have three business days to submit payment for the Buyer's Premium
- Once the payment has been placed, both the seller and the winning bidder will receive each other's contact information, and will proceed to complete the transaction outside of the platform.
Unfortunately we do not have a clear answer for this question as each and every vehicle we list is different in regards to the information that was submitted. We try to work as quick as possible with an aim to have the vehicle posted within 48 hours after all required information has been received.
If you wish to make changes to your auction, click here to submit a ticket. Once your ticket has been submitted, we will have the auction updated ASAP! Submitting a ticket is the fastest way to get your ad updated, if you reach out to us via social media, please keep in mind we receive numerous message requests daily on all of our social platforms, so it may take some time for us to see your message.
There are currently ZERO fees associated with auctioning a vehicle on the Street Car Market.
Please keep in mind we only list modified vehicles at this time. Also, if we feel there is a lack of effort on the seller's end in regards to information and media that's submitted, the vehicle will be denied as we are focused on providing highly detailed, thorough auctions.
All vehicles listed on our platform will be featured on our social media outlets, YouTube, site, and more.
The winning bidder will have three business days to complete payment for the Buyer's Premium before they receive your contact information. If payment is not received from the winning bidder within this period, the card on file for their account will be manually charged via Stripe. The winning bidder will be invalidated, completely removed from our platform, and the next highest bidder will be awarded as the winning bidder.
Unfortunately not. We require all current listings on all other platforms (Facebook marketplace, forums, social media posts, etc.) to be removed until the auction is complete.
BUYER FAQ
Basta will send all bidders an email notification when they successfully register, place a bid, have been outbid, when the auction closes, or if they have won the auction! If you receive an outbid notification, please visit the auction link available in the email and raise your bid.
In addition to the final purchase price paid to the seller, buyers pay a 5% Buyer's Premium to the Street Car Market.
If you are the winning bidder, you will have three business days to pay or will lose your status as winning bidder. All winning bidders will immediately be sent a payment link for the Buyer's Premium upon auction close. The seller's full contact information will not be sent until payment is processed.
Yes. Once you register to bid, you will receive periodic notifications regarding your bid status and the status of the auction as a whole.
All bidders will be given a randomly generated username. All bids will appear in a leaderboard beneath the item image.
Bids are binding, so please only bid if you fully intend to purchase the car and you have performed due dilligence. Buyer's Premium is not refundable after winning an auction. This is very important to consider before you decide to participate in the bidding process.
