Description
1039whp 2010 SMS 570 Challenger in Torred with 39,045 (Chassis) miles for sale! This SMS (Steve Mark Saleen) 570 Challenger started life as a stock R/T before being dismantled and rebuilt with an extensive list of exclusive SMS components that transformed nearly every aspect of the car. The current owner purchased it brand new in 2010, then took it even further with additional work performed by Nima Hadavi at Octane Fab in Pittsburgh, PA, all backed by invoices.
The car received a complete heart transplant, the factory 5.7L HEMI was removed in favor of a 7.0L 426ci built on a 2022 Hellcat 6.2L block. The rotating assembly includes Manley pistons, Manley Turbo Tuff connecting rods, and a Molnar crankshaft, topped with a custom-ground camshaft, CNC-ported heads, MMX springs, and ARP studs. Boost still comes from the original SMS 296 supercharger with its Lysholm twin-screw compressor. The fuel system was upgraded with dual Walbro 450LPH pumps and a set of FIC 1300cc fuel injectors to keep up with the added output.
Power gets to the ground through a Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual (carbon-Kevlar synchros, billet plate), a McLeod RXT 1200 twin-disc clutch, Barton short-throw shifter, custom 4" aluminum driveshaft, Demon Wavetrac LSD with a differential brace, and Driveshaft Shop Hellcat axles. Further equipped with Bilstein shocks, AAD billet rear control arms, 20" Forgiato 3-piece wheels on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, Brembo brakes, and 2015 Hellcat headlights.
Tuning was also completed by Nima Hadavi with an output of 1039whp/1030wtq on a hub dyno.
The owner has meticulously maintained the car since new, the paint is flawless from every angle, it's all original with no dings or scratches, and the exterior was ceramic coated last year for extra protection. It runs and drives flawlessly with no squeaks or rattles.
Only 7K miles on the modifications with invoices, SMS Supercars window sticker, and a dyno sheet.
