The owner is a trusted-seller who has listed several top quality builds with us throughout the years. This particular build is no exception, provisioned with a wide array of top-of-the-line components, resulting in an incredibly fast street car that’s generating some serious power. The heart of this C7 ZR1 consists of a TKM Performance 430 CID LT5 that’s topped with a Kong Performance CNC ported 2650 LT5 supercharger, and linked to an ATI built 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission. Delving deeper into the build, the engine utilizes a sleeved block as its base with a Manley 4” crankshaft and Diamond pistons, the top end features a pair of CID cylinder heads along Johnson link bar lifters. The Kong ported blower employs a 2.85” upper/20% OD lower pulley combination, followed by a 112mm throttle body, and AMP cold air intake. This beast of a setup is fueled by a Fore Innovations triple pump fuel system with in-tank pumps, and a set of Injector Dynamics ID1050X port injectors. A flex fuel sensor was installed as well, the car is currently running E85 fuel. Following the built 8L90, the drivetrain also makes use of a Circle D torque converter, hardened input/output shafts, and Driveshaft Shop driveshaft/axles. Additional build highlights include a pair of 2” headers, Hooker full 3” exhaust, AMP ice tank, Alky Control dual nozzle fogger methanol controller, MSD 2-Step, Carlyle Racing 15” conversion, Menscer coilovers, WELD Racing S76 drag pack, and more. All recent upgrades were installed by Eric Ewell (GM World Class Technician), and tuning was handled by Justin Schmidt of Schmidty Tuning. The initial setup, which consisted of a 390 CID engine with 1,071whp, was completed by the original owner, Sean Erikson of Speed Engineering in California. The car was running low 9’s in the 1/4-mile and mid/high 5’s in the 1/8-mile with the 390 CID engine. In its current configuration/power level with the 430 CID engine, the car is expected to run mid/high 8’s in the 1/4-mile and mid 5’s in the 1/8-mile. It’s extremely clean inside and out, and always stored in a heated/air-conditioned/humidity controlled environment. Clean title!
