Description
~1800whp 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ in Black (Wrapped in Satin PPF) with 30,000 (Chassis) miles now up for auction! Purchased by the current owner in stock configuration, this C7 Z06 was transformed into a four-digit street car built to perform at the highest level (both dig and roll racing). The build was spec'd, assembled, and tuned by the team at Advanced Modern Performance (AMP) in Grand Prairie, Texas. No shortcuts were taken during the process, as evidenced by more than $218,000 in documented receipts.
At the heart of the build is a Late Model Engines (LME) 400" LTR long block featuring Edelbrock 6-bolt race heads, LME billet valve covers, and an LME billet intake manifold. Designed specifically for forced-induction applications, the engine is paired with a massive F-1X ProCharger, creating a combination capable of delivering immense power.
The factory 8L90 was replaced with a lockup TH400 transmission, capable of handling anything you throw at it. It's a modification rarely found on comparable C7 builds and one that helps distinguish this example from the rest. Additional drivetrain upgrades include an M&M CO2 air shifter system, M&M billet shifter, Neal Chance Racing Converters full-lockup bolt-together torque converter, Moser 9-inch center section with Pro Gear, and 300M axles.
To support the increased output, the car received extensive fuel system upgrades including an Injector Dynamics brushless fuel system with controller, Injector Dynamics 2650 injectors, Radium fuel hat, and flex-fuel capability.
Additional highlights include an AMP air-to-water intercooler system, AMP trunk-mounted water box system, Nitrous Outlet direct-port nitrous system, full Menscer Motorsports suspension, 15-inch rear conversion with a complete WELD Racing drag package, Aerospace brakes, Tillet carbon-fiber seats, and much more.
Calibration was handled by Sam Miller of AMP via factory/Holley ECU. The combination produced 1,602 wheel horsepower on boost alone, with output estimated at 1,800 wheel horsepower when utilizing nitrous.
Since completion, the build has accumulated just 500 miles. Following the break-in period, the car underwent a comprehensive nut-and-bolt inspection to verify that all components were properly secured and functioning as intended
This Corvette retains excellent street manners, which is a testament to the quality of the build, nothing but premium components were used, and the car was dialed in properly. It cruises comfortably at highway speeds around 2,400 RPM at 65 mph, remains easy to drive, and is fully sorted and ready for its next owner.
