Description

2000whp 2001 Pontiac Trans Am in Navy Blue for sale! This incredibly fast Trans Am is a proven 4 second build that’s armed with nothing but top of the line components. The engine was just refreshed by Baker Engineering on 3/23, it’s a 427ci Dart LS block that was originally assembled by Mike Lough. The turbo system is based off of a massive Jose FIS GT55 102mm gen 3 turbocharger, which makes for a powerful combination when paired with the 427ci engine. In terms of fuel, the car utilizes an 18.5 GPM mechanical cable drive pump along with 16 FID 2200 fuel injectors, PTFE fuel lines, and it currently runs on M1 Methanol. The drivetrain was beefed up as well with the installation of a 1.80 Reid powerglide transmission, followed by a 9” rear end with 3.89 gear. The build was completed by Baker Engineering, and dyno tuning was handled via Holley Dominator by Jonathan Capizzi. This beast of a build ran a 7.3 in the 1/4-mile while lifting at the 1/8, it makes plenty of power, and 60 foot’s hard. It still utilizes a radiator, fans, water pump, and an alternator so it could be driven on the streets. Receipts for the work performed are available! Clean title!
