This 6th gen Camaro SS features a well documented build, which revolves around a 12.5:1 Texas Speed assembled gen V LT1 416ci stroker, built to safely handle over 1000whp with some boost or spray. A few highlights from the engine build include Wiseco forged pistons, TSP h-beam forged rods, TSP forged stroker crank, TSP Stage II cam, CNC ported heads, all supporting valvetrain upgrades, port matched MSD Atomic AirForce intake manifold with a Katech 103mm throttle body, Roto-Fab CAI, and more. As for fuel, the fuel system consists of a ZL1 in-tank pump, ZL1 HPFP, ZL1 direct port injectors, and an E85 conversion kit. The 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission was matched with a Circle D billet 3800 stall converter, which is trailed by a DSS carbon fiber driveshaft, and G-Force Outlaw axles. Tuning was completed via HP Tuners by SSLSX in Concord, NC for the major engine/transmission tunes with an output of 602whp/564wtq. As for track times, the car ran a 6.82 @ 101mph with a 1.52 60’ in the 1/8-mile, launching in 2nd gear. Once the car received new drag radials, upgraded driveshaft/axles, the owner could launch from first, resulting in a 6.62 pass @ 105mph with a 1.44 60’ (it’s faster, but this was just 2 test runs). There are only 3K miles on the build with receipts for every modification, including the engine work, parts and oil changes! Clean title!
