~650whp 2016 Nissan 370Z in Gun Metallic with 53,286 (Chassis) miles now up for auction! Far from your average 370Z, this particular example features a radical setup with over $45,000 dedicated to the build. The owner purchased the vehicle on June 23, 2017, completely stock with the VQ37VHR/7-speed automatic transmission, and had it built by a trusted mechanic into its current configuration, featuring a turbo LS swap along with numerous additional modifications.
Power comes from a fully rebuilt Gen 4 LS engine paired with a VS Racing VS7875 Gen II turbocharger and mated to a Nissan 370Z 6-speed manual transmission equipped with a South Bend Stage 3 clutch. The engine was rebuilt by Northwest Machine Shop, featuring a decked block with new Clevite bearings, a 5.3L Gen 4 rotating assembly with gapped rings, ported and polished 243 cylinder heads, and a BTR Stage 2 turbo camshaft with supporting valvetrain upgrades, just to name a few. The engine has approximately 1,500 miles since completion.
The fuel system was upgraded as well with the installation of dual Holley 450LPH pumps, Bosch 210 lb/hr injectors, JEGS fuel rails, an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, a custom 15-gallon fuel tank, a Pace Performance flex-fuel kit for E85 capability, and Fragola/Hot Rod fuel lines and fittings (-10 feed, -8 return). Additional key components include LOJ's complete swap kit with a Sikky oil filter relocation setup, an aluminum radiator with a SPAL electric fan, BC Racing BR coilovers, an Akebono big brake kit, a rear 15-inch brake conversion with R1 Concepts rotors, RPM 6-point chromoly roll cage with swing-out bars and an unused G-Force 5-point harness, and much more.
Engine management is handled by a Holley Terminator X ECU, with tuning performed remotely by Turbo Joes Holley EFI Tuning. While the car has not been dyno tested, the owner estimates the car is currently putting down around 650whp on E85. There are no known mechanical issues, and the car recently completed a 3 hour round trip without any problems. The most recent oil change was just performed a few weeks ago.
The performance upgrades are complemented by a fresh full repaint, the car presents exceptionally well both inside and out.
