This 9-second S550 was modified by BFS Performance, powered by a gen 2 5.0L Coyote that’s paired with a Paxton 2200SL supercharger (employs a 3.33” GripTec pulley), and backed by a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission. The Coyote was fitted with upgraded oil pump gears/crank sprocket along with a ported Boss 302 intake manifold. Following the 6R80 transmission swap, the drivetrain also utilizes a Circle D 3C converter, and Driveshaft Shop 2K HP axles. Fuel demands are met with the installation of a Fore Innovations level 2 fuel system. Additional upgrades include Steeda drag springs, complete set of Billet Specialties wheels with rear beadlocks, and a Cervinis cowl hood. This supercharged Mustang laid down 840whp on E85 after tuning was completed by Lund Racing. As for performance metrics, it ran a 9.6X @ 143mph in the 1/4-mile, and it went 60-130 in 5.6s. Clean title!
