This 9-second S550 packs a built gen III 5.0L Coyote that’s topped with a VMP Gen3R 2.65L TVS supercharger (8 rib kit), and mated to a built 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission. More specifically, the gen III 5.0L block features forged Mahle pistons, Manley H-Tuff rods, ARP head/main studs, PAC 1234X valve springs, and billet oil pump gears/crank sprocket. Fuel demands are met with the installation of a Fore Innovations full return fuel system that makes use of dual 525lph pumps along with a set of Injector Dynamics 1000cc fuel injectors. Drivetrain upgrades include a built 6R80 (with Exedy clutches, billet intermediate shaft, new oil pump, Circle D 2C converter), 1-piece driveshaft, and upgraded half shafts. Additional upgrades include 82mm upper/15% lower, twin jet 67mm throttle body, PMAS 149mm intake, Kooks 1-7/8” headers, 742cu in. DOB heat exchanger, PNR 7 gallon ice tank, and several BMR suspension components. This VMP supercharged Mustang was built by the owner, and tuned by Palm Beach Dyno. The car has been a best of 9.4 @ 148mph in the 1/4-mile with a 1.42 60’, weighing in at 3900Ibs. It hasn’t been on a dyno, however the 1/4-mile trap speed calculates to ~850-900whp. A lot of receipts and invoices are available! Clean title!
