How much does it cost to list my vehicle?
Listing your vehicle is $99. If your auction receives zero bids, your listing fee is fully refunded.
What happens when my auction closes?
- Winning bid is confirmed and Buyer's Fee is captured
- Contact information is exchanged between buyer and seller
- Buyer has 7 days to complete full payment
How do I know the bidders are serious?
Every bidder on Street Car Market is required to place a 5% authorization hold on their card before their bid is accepted. This eliminates low-ballers and tire kickers, only committed buyers can participate.
Do I receive any portion of the Buyer's Fee?
No. The 5% Buyer's Fee is charged directly to the winning bidder and goes to Street Car Market. You keep 100% of the final winning bid.
What if the buyer doesn’t follow through?
If a winning bidder fails to complete the purchase, their Buyer's Fee is non-refundable and they may be permanently banned from Street Car Market and any affiliated platforms. We take commitment seriously, a winning bid is a binding agreement.
Am I required to sell if my auction gets bids?
If you set a reserve price and it is not met, you are not obligated to sell. If your reserve is met or you listed with no reserve, the auction result is binding.
Can buyers ask questions before bidding?
Yes. Buyers can ask questions through the listing before placing a bid, but full contact details are only exchanged after the auction closes with a winning bid.
What if I change my mind after the auction closes?
If a seller refuses to honor the result of their auction, the winning buyer's Buyer's Fee is refunded in full. The seller may also be permanently banned from Street Car Market and any affiliated platforms. Listing on SCM is a commitment to sell if your reserve is met.
How long does my auction run?
All auctions run for 7 days from the date your listing goes live.
